This is a theme show so the artwork must in someway relate to Hollywood, a title, the imagery, etc. The number of pieces you may have in the show will be dependent on the number of people that wish to be in the show so we need to know as soon as possible if you are interested in being in the show. Because of the strange hanging system at the Gallery all art need to have wire hangers.
Dates:
March 26, 2008 you must notify Michael Duffy that you will be in the show either by email at duffysart@gmail.com or phone 659-5003.
April 2, 2008, Wed. 10 AM to 4 PM turn in art and pay fees at the Marjorie Evan’s Gallery at the Sunset Center.
April 3, 2008, Thur. Show will be hung.
April 4, 2008, Friday there will be an opening reception with food and beverages from 5 PM till 7 PM.
May 2, 2008, pick up artwork 10AM till 4PM. There is no storage at the Sunset Center so Artists Equity will have to take away any peice not picked up. There will be a $20 storage charge per day for art not picked up.
This is an Artists Equity show so you must be an Artists Equity member in good standing. Membership runs from Jan. 1 till Dec. 31 so if you have not paid your dues this year you will need to pay them. Membership is only $40 per year.
There is a fee for hanging the show, but you may get a discount by volunteering. The fees are $20 per piece 40” wide or less or two pieces “18 wide or less.

Check in Wed. April 2, 10 AM till noon, noon till 2 PM or 2PM till 4 PM.
Hanging Thur. April 3.
Reception Friday, April 4.
Returning artwork Friday, May 2, 10 AM till noon, noon to 2 PM or 2 PM till 4 PM.
