Studio Tour 2009 Evaluations:

  The Monterey County Artists Sudio Tour 2009 was very successful for most of the people that returned their evaluations:

Evelyn Klein, “It was much more successful than last year for me”

Alan Masoka, “Good maps, much better than years past. Great tour.....And as you know was a lot of work though.

John Burton, “I think the maps and signs to find the studio were very helpful”

Toni Chiapelli, “The studio tour went very well for me this year. This is my second year and I would strongly consider doing it again. I had many people come just to see my artwork, the feedback was fabulous, many new fans and collectors and even special orders!”

Dan Beck, “My estimates of attendance were not very strong for Salinas.  On Saturday, I would say 6 of the 8 -10 people who visited came specifically for the art tour.  On Sunday - perhaps  10 or 12 of the 15 -20 people who showed came for the studio tour.  They were remarkably quiet days” The other Salinas people Trish Sullivan, France Minglana, reported that it was extremely slow in Salinas.

Melissa  Pickford, “It was better advertised this year than ever; thank you.
It was very successful for Rollin Pickford---he sold 10 paintings.

Peggy Olson phoned, she said that she had lots of visitors and did very well in sales.

Jody Royee phoned, she had lots of visitors, but sales were not as good as last year.

Lygia Chappellet, ” I had a good turn out and did well on sales too, about $xxxx.  So I am happy."

 

 

 

 

 

Monterey County Artists Studio Tour 2010

Sept. 25-26, 2010,
11 AM till 5 PM

Entry Fees: Envelopes must be post marked by the following date.
May 30th       end of $150 per person studio tour fee discounted.  
June 26th     last day to enter Studio Tour at $250 per person.

Eligibility:

Artists agree to open their studio or gallery to the public for the entire 2 days and be present to discuss, demonstrate and sell their artwork.

Each location will be limited to no more than 6 artists exhibiting together.
Each artist in a group must pay the required fees.

We must follow the Pacific Grove Art Centers guidelines on delivery and pick up of artwork.

Deliver art on Sat. Sept.4, 2010 from noon till 4PM.
Pick up art on Fri. Oct. 22, 2010 from noon till 4PM.

Submit a color photograph 4”X6”, a CD with Jpeg image or Jpeg by email of an example of your artwork for publication on the web site and for promotional advertising deemed necessary. Send jpeg to duffysart@gmail.com.

Volunteer 2 hrs towards the studio tour success.
